Ivanka Trump has long been considered the most level headed and wisest of Donald Trump’s spoiled, entitled children, but earlier today she showed America that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
In an interview with Fox & Friends this morning, Ivanka channeled her father and threw a Trump-like temper tantrum in front of everyone, as she complained about how unfair and “vicious” the country has been to her family during her father’s presidency.
Co-host Brian Kilmede asked Ivanka about the former James Comey trial that took place last week, and Ivanka predictably defended her father, stating:
“My father felt very vindicated, and all the statements that he has been making and feels incredibly optimistic.”
Then she said something completely laughable about her father and his administration being “focused”:
“You know, at the White House and throughout the administration, we were incredibly focused on the reason we all went to Washington.”
Ivanka’s appearance on Fox seemed to be going okay, as the Fox hosts refused to ask her any of the tougher questions. However, the interview did reveal this one gem, in which Trump’s favorite daughter whined about how surprised she is at the “intensity” that America is resisting her father’s racist, bigoted policies and disastrous behavior. She said:
“It is hard. There’s a level of viciousness that I was not expecting — I wasn’t expecting the intensity of this experience — but this isn’t supposed to be easy…My father and his administration intends to be transformative and we want to do big bold things. We’re looking to change status quo, so I didn’t expect it was going to be easy. I think some of the distractions and some of the veracity, I was a little blindsided by on a personal level.”
