MSNBC Hosts Speechless After Trump Trashes Poor People In Unhinged Speech (VIDEO)

Last night, Donald Trump made some insane remarks about poor people in an unhinged speech in Cedar Rapids, Iowa – and those comments were so shocking that they left many speechless – particularly the hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

In his speech, Trump stated that he loved poor people, but he didn’t want them running the country because rich people (like himself) were more trustworthy and capable of doing the job – which is entirely laughable considering the current corruption and incompetency in the Trump administration. Trump said:

”These are people that are great, brilliant business minds. That’s what we need. That’s what we have to have. So the world doesn’t take advantage. We can’t have the world taking advantage of us anymore. I love all people, rich or poor, but in those particular positions, I just don’t want a poor person. Does that make sense? If you insist, I’ll do it — but I like it better this way.”

MSNBC played the clip earlier this morning, and host Mika Brzezinski was absolutely speechless. Willie Geist said:

“That could have been 2015. That could have been two summers ago. Donald Trump in his element. Soaking up the crowd. Talking about how rich his buddies are.”

Sam Stein was beside himself and chuckled at how ridiculous the whole thing was:

“That’s amazing. Any other person in politics who would say something like that would have their career crushed. Donald Trump’s just going to skate by it.”

The camera then went to Brzezinski, who couldn’t find the words. Stein asked her, “Are you speechless?” It took her several seconds before she could say, “I am.” And honestly, every single American should be as well. This is extremely inappropriate, and should never have come from the mouth of a president.

To further show how disappointing the Morning Joe crew was in Trump, they began the show by calling out every single one of Trump’s lies from the rally:
