As if the fact that Donald Trump is running a re-election campaign for 2020 when he is boasting a historically low approval rating wasn’t ridiculous enough, the new ad Trump is releasing to promote his presidency is almost just as bad.
Earlier today, the Trump campaign showed just how petty Trump and his administration are by rolling out a new ad campaign that calls out “the President’s enemies”, focusing on the media and Congress. Seriously, there isn’t a faster way to make enemies, and the Trump campaign went right for it.
The ad pretty much states that Congress, the media, and practically everyone else who opposes or criticizes Trump is obstructing the disgraced POTUS and trying to stop him from doing his job and implementing his agenda – even though many of us wish Trump would actually start to ‘do his job’ and lead the country instead of playing golf and tweeting so much.
In the short ad, when the narrator mentions the ‘President’s enemies’, something completely ridiculous happens – Congress is shown in the background, and then images of high profile media figures such as Anderson Cooper, Jake Tapper, Don Lemon, Erin Burnett, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, Rachel Maddow, and Chris Hayes flicker across the screen. If Trump wanted to invite more media figures to go after him, he couldn’t have done a better job than by singling these people out.
You can watch the pathetic ad below, which is riddled with lies and petty whining:
As you can imagine, many took issue with this. American Urban Radio Networks White House Correspondent April Ryan, who was featured in the video, took to Twitter to blast Trump:
Watch this video! This outrageous! I am no enemy just a journalist asking questions of presidents for 20 years. https://t.co/3GO5QmaMQ1

It won’t be long before many others sound off on Trump.
