This Is How Trump Is Spending His Columbus Day; Meanwhile Puerto Rico Is Begging For Help

While American citizens in Puerto Rico are struggling to receive help, President Donald Trump is spending his Columbus Day golfing at one of his highly overrated resorts.

The White House tries to hide the fact that Trump is an inconsistent president, who rather spend his time swinging a golf club than attending to his duties. With a busy fall ahead, there are any number of things the president could be alluding his time to:  Immigration, North Korea, health care, the Iran nuclear deal – and maybe even assisting Puerto Rico. However, Trump is spending his Monday golfing with Senator Lindsay Graham at his Virginia resort, marking it as his 18th visit to this particular establishment.

Graham was seen loading golf clubs into a black SUV at the White House, and the White House confirmed Trump will be golfing with Graham at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va.

According to Washington Post, Trump has likely to have played golf on 53 days of his 263 days in office — once every five days. (Obama played once every 8.8 days over his eight years in office.) Trump has done so every time at a golf club that his private business owns. The Secret Service has paid $137,000 to rent golf carts over Trump’s presidency.

Typically, presidents have holidays off, but they spend them in meetings and are normally booked throughout the day. Unfortunately, we have a president who clears his entire holiday week to golf at his resort. Keep in mind, this is coming from the same man who allegedly would bash President Obama for “golfing too much.” The hypocrite-in-chief has no excuse for this one.
